Guide Services

Make the smart move and hire a guide for your next hunting trip.

Our expertise will significantly improve the chances of a successful hunt, and you don’t have to worry about logistics like scouting locations, setting up gear, or planning the trip. Instead, you can relax and just focus on enjoying the experience.

Wildlife Expertise

Guides possess intimate knowledge of the hunting area, including terrain, wildlife patterns, and legal hunting zones. This knowledge significantly increases the chances of a successful hunt, especially for non-locals who may be unfamiliar with the area.

Expert Knowledge of the Area

Guides are skilled in tracking, calling, and decoying specific animals like geese. Their experience helps hunters understand animal behavior, migration patterns, and the best hunting techniques for the species.

Access to Prime Locations

Many guides have exclusive access to private land or know the best spots on public land, offering hunters opportunities they wouldn’t normally have on their own. This increases the likelihood of encountering game.

Proper Equipment and Setup

Guides often provide essential equipment like decoys, blinds, calls, and boats. They can also assist with setting up blinds or decoy spreads in optimal locations, saving hunters time and ensuring a professional setup.

Safety and Legal Compliance

Hunting can be dangerous, especially for those unfamiliar with the area or safety protocols. A guide helps minimize risk by ensuring hunters follow all safety procedures. They also ensure compliance with local hunting laws, licenses, and regulations, which vary by region.

Great Learning Experience

For novice hunters, a guided trip serves as an educational experience. Guides offer hands-on training in hunting techniques, proper gear use, and how to recognize favorable conditions. This knowledge is valuable for future trips.

A day well spent in California fields.

Come out and have a memorable hunt with us on uncrowded private land in the heart of the Sacramento Valley Rice fields.  We have 1000s of acres rice fields to hunt, from the Willows/Chico area south to the Delta pasture lands.

Our typical day we shoot from legal shoot time until 11am or so. If the weather looks good for an afternoon hunt we will make that decision that day. Come make a memory with us.

Hiring a Guide Helps You Dodge All Kinds of Issues.

It can make the difference between a rewarding, safe experience and a disappointing or unsafe one, especially for less experienced hunters or those unfamiliar with the area.

Avoid Unsuccessful Hunts

Without local knowledge or the right techniques, hunting trips can result in no birds. A guide maximizes chances of success by bringing expertise in local wildlife habits and proper hunting methods.

Avoid Legal Issues

Regulations around hunting are strict and can vary significantly by region (such as bag limits, seasons, and protected areas). A guide ensures hunters follow all rules and avoid costly fines or legal trouble.

Avoid Safety Hazards

A poorly prepared hunting trip can lead to accidents involving firearms, rough terrain, or exposure to harsh weather. A guide is trained to manage these risks and can react quickly in case of emergencies.

Avoid Setup Issues

Wasting time in unproductive areas or struggling with improper gear setups can be frustrating. Guides help streamline the hunt, ensuring more time is spent in prime locations.
